Virtual Office Assistant

March 10th, 2010 haluka Comments off

With increasing opportunities on the internet, more and more people have full time jobs on the internet; there is nothing that cannot be done through internet. If you are tired of having unreliable secretaries or they simply can’t do enough for you, you can simply hire a virtual office assistant on whom you will not spend a dime in the name of insurance and they will be able to do more than the live in secretary will ever do. An in-house secretary occupies a lot of space; something that lacks in small businesses or medium sized companies.

From a virtual office assistant you will be able to benefit from personalized services, without feeling that you are letting them know too much about you. Hiring a virtual office assistant is hiring a personal assistant who will not take bathroom or coffee break when you are not around to supervise them. He will be on call anytime to do whatever you require of him anytime. The virtual office assistant will remind you of the appointment you need to make with your dentist and maybe make a hotel reservation for your annual retreat.

He may even go to the extent of designing the new web page for your business website, something that you would have had to outsource if you had a live-in secretary. Whether your virtual secretary does some outsourcing for his services really isn’t a bother to you.

If you have an in-house assistant, he/she may not have the skills or the experience needed by the firm from time to time. On top of that, you will have to make room for the person and the myriad of machinery that he/she will come with. A virtual office assistant works far from you. You will not be able to see eye to eye but they will always be at your beck and call.

The in-house assistant stays idle at some point in their working day, depending on the amount of work that is handled by the firm on a day to day basis. No matter how much time he/spends on the work that is assigned to him/her a live-in assistant will not do more than is required by the boss unless you plan to hike the pay. They may go on a go slow or decide to quit without a notifying you. A virtual office assistant on the other hand is only paid for the actual hours that he does the job and nothing extra. He will not become a headache since he has other clients whose needs he needs to cater for. All you do is give an assignment and a due date; and the work will be delivered. It is cheaper to maintain a virtual office assistant since you will not have to pay some fees that come with having an in-house assistant.

A virtual office assistant is most of the time an assistant to many other people and since he/she has specialized on the work that he/she is doing, they are more likely to be more proficient and faster and have the latest tools to do their jobs. They have the latest software and they have a good support system. They pool their resources and help each other out when they are stuck.

Virtual Chocolate

March 8th, 2010 haluka Comments off

A second on your lips forever on your hips never happens with virtual chocolate.

Chocolate begins from a seed. A cacao seed. It is then fermented, roasted, shelled, grounded, and melted into other forms and tastes. It is also exactly how a product is created. Whether a car or an article.

The process begins with an idea–another way of seeding. We ferment it–we let it roll around in our imagination, sprinkle on a little creativity, and even place it into a state of aggravation in order to deshell it.

Next, we roast the idea, melt it, add this and that, and mold it into some delectable small, large, round or square piece that will tingle taste buds, yours, and mine too. It could be building a book, an article, a building, or sending food to a starving country.

Sometimes we remove something to change it’s color or to make it fat free. With chocolate, they remove the extra shell and then make it into white chocolate. For a writer, it’s the editing process, the removing of that inner shell to find the white sweeter spot or to make it fat free.

Everything leads up to one thing whether it’s making virtual chocolate or anything else. It’s the user’s result. When someone pops that piece of chocolate into their mouth and that smile of delight lights up their face, it doesn’t matter whether they’re young or old, an American or of Australian descent. A smile is a smile on any human being. And a smile on a child is forever on our hard drive.

So, what is the difference if you are making chocolate or writing an e-mail that makes someone smile. Send virtual chocolate everyday and make them smile.

Windows Virtual Private Server Hosting – The Technology Solution to Reduce Operating Costs

March 6th, 2010 haluka Comments off

Webmasters who are inclined to be fastidious about cost efficiency, convenience and control of installed applications now have the option to get Windows Virtual Private Servers that offer ideal solutions to such requirements at an affordable cost. Many webmasters have switched to WVPS type of hosting because they cost a lot less than dedicated servers; yet can perform with the same efficiency and can achieve the same benefits as that of the latter.

With the use of Microsofts Hyper V technology, Windows Virtual Private Server hosting providers offer efficient and versatile solution. The advanced technology employed simulates dedicated server hosting solutions at a lesser price by allowing the same level of control with the use of remote desktop (terminal server/RDP) and puts forward full administrative access, total OS access and OS selection.

Windows Virtual Private Servers use a system that in many ways, does the same precise functions of a dedicated server hosting; but since they use shared hardware, the result is a much less expensive solution for business looking to establish exclusive networks, entire virtual clusters or organize balanced loads of geographically diverse applications, all without the heavy burden of costly overhead that dedicated hardware involves.

Instead of buying a physical system to run their applications, software developers realize that they can cut considerable cost by choosing to have a Windows VPS account. The great thing about it is that WVPS allow webmasters to do some customization to suit their purpose, as Windows VPS are designed to tap existing computer resources.

The guaranteed resources feature, together with burstable RAM enables software developers to separate tasks into much simpler assignments. It is quite easy to separate images and text contents, for example; as this type of account allows you a lot more flexibility compared to the set up of shared accounts. You can maximize hosting resource management and even when you find yourself on the verge of saturating the limit of your guaranteed resources, the burstable RAM can be relied to compensate for the necessary extra space.

Numerous programs are utilized by webmasters to accomplish their daily tasks. The advantage of this is you can configure and install preferred programs while also providing the opportunity to have unlimited application combinations. For example, when the web application framework ASP.NET is installed, it can help webmasters ad software developers in executing web-related assignments.

Windows Virtual Private Servers account can also perfectly accommodate Microsoft’s Internet Information Service (IIS), the second most popular web server in the world. Webmasters who are into creating dynamic and database driven websites can also install Cold Fusion which is very useful for this task. Its versatility does not end there. Windows Virtual Private Servers allow the configuration and installation of free and open source applications in lieu of proprietary or licensed applications.

For most small businesses, reducing costs is as vital as increasing profits. The utilization of these servers can significantly improve business efficiency and profitability. A switch to Windows VPS hosting solution is guaranteed to change your view on how small businesses do business. It is a very simple process that does not involve high upfront costs.

What is a Virtual Private Network (VPN)?

March 6th, 2010 haluka Comments off

A virtual private network (VPN) can either be a remote access or site-to-site network – whatever the case, you’ll need specific software and hardware to build a VPN. For instance, you may need a desktop software client for each remote user, dedicated hardware (a concentrator or secure PIX firewall), a dedicated server for dial-up, a network access server for use by a service provider for remote users to access VPN, and a network and policy management center.

There is no single way to put together a VPN, which is why most companies come up with a solution for their own needs. Most VPNs, however, make use of Cisco VPN technology simply because it is the most widely used equipment for networking in the world.

So what are some of the hardware components you will need, in addition to VPN software? One component is called a concentrator. This piece of equipment is good for remote access, with encryption and authentication techniques that are quite advanced. With high availability, performance, and scalability, this piece of hardware also includes SEP modules that let you increase capacity and throughput. VPN concentrators sold work in small business situations, as well as in larger businesses, with up to 10,000 remote users.

A VPN optimized router is used for scalability, routing, security, and quality of service. This piece of equipment is usually based on the Cisco IOS VPN software – you can find routers for many different networking needs. Small offices make use of them, as well as larger businesses.

If you’re setting up a virtual private network, you’re also going to need a secure PIX firewall. A PIX (private Internet exchange) firewall comes with dynamic network address translation, proxy server, packet filtration, firewall and VPN capabilities all in one. A Cisco VPN always makes use of this type of hardware to set up an SSL VPN, although a PIX usually doesn’t use the Cisco IOS software, but an efficient operating system that is designed to perform exceptionally well.

VPNs are used to connect offices and workstations together over a private network for various purposes. The type of software you implement depends on the type of network you are building. Most Cisco networks use a Cisco VPN client and software, for compatibility reasons. No matter what VPN client you use, an SSL should be set up to work as efficiently as possible, and have the proper security measures put in place to protect the dissemination of data.

Things have really changed in the past few years, with companies being forced to deal with worldwide markets and offices in different locations across the globe. With segments of modern businesses often spread out across different locations, the most important technology is the virtual private network. VPNs allow companies to maintain internal communications that are fast, safe, and reliable. Modern VPN technology and equipment give businesses the opportunity to do this inexpensively. Without the reliable communication capabilities of a VPN, companies wouldn’t run so well.

Icarus, The Nexus, and The Artificial Moon

March 5th, 2010 haluka Comments off

The Cube, the Solar Christ, and the Flaming Utopian Nexus that transcends time are all enigma of fourth density slowly spilling their secrets to third density man as he peers into the horizon of change and evolution.. Where the holographic universe begins to present itself for what it really is.. an organic hallway of ever evolving light consciousness expressed through photonic energy, music, and geometry. All comprised of an eternal grid matrix.. very similar to a virtual reality program. We all strive to find the source even if in fact there is no source. A conundrum that may never be solved and only maintains it’s sanity through the interconnectivity of spirit and the ambition to see the worlds beyond the veil.. At the end we may find ourselves at the beginning of another microcosm that we ourselves have created.. so the cycle can be purified and repeated into infinity.. Some call it life I suppose.. I call it conquest for consciousness.. Thanks To John Lear and Richard Hoagland for their wonderful moon research!
